Live endpoints
MCP POST https://mcp.rivalsweeper.com/mcp
REST https://mcp.rivalsweeper.com/openapi.json
Agent-native
Built to be called by software, not clicked by people. MCP and REST over the same signals.
Pay per call
A few cents a call, drawn from prepaid credits. It scales with your usage, not your headcount.
No seat, no contract
No per-user licenses and no annual commitment. Start metered, commit only when it pays off.
How it works
Four steps, from your agent's request to a signal it can act on.
Your agent calls RivalSweeper
Over MCP or a plain REST request, your agent asks for the exact signal it needs: a price, a promotion, a readiness score, a full brand snapshot.
It gets the signal back, freshness-stamped
Every response carries the time we captured the data, so your agent always knows how current the answer is before it acts.
The call draws from prepaid credits
Each answer debits a set number of credits from your balance. A hard spend cap on every account means a runaway loop can never surprise you.
No data for a domain? No charge
If we have nothing for the domain your agent asked about, the call comes back empty and costs nothing. You only pay for answers that carry data.
The signals your agents can pull
Priced in tiers, because a single raw fact and a written competitive brief are not worth the same. Start with the cheap, high-volume signals and reach for synthesis when your agent needs a judgement, not a number.
Core signals
AtomicThe high-volume facts an agent asks for again and again.
Competitor price
Current price for a brand and SKU or category, dated.
Promotions
Active discounts and offers running right now, with start dates.
AI and agent-readiness score
The six-signal score for how ready a domain is for AI shopping agents.
Brand snapshot
BundleEvery current signal for one brand-day, returned in a single call.
Brand snapshot
Price, promotions, and readiness for a brand bundled together, so your agent makes one call instead of five.
History
PremiumThe time-series behind any signal, over the window you choose.
Signal history
How a price, promotion, or score moved across days, weeks, or months.
Synthesis
SynthesisWritten analysis, not raw data. Where the interpretation lives.
SWOT delta and competitive summary
A synthesized competitive brief and change narrative for a brand, written for an agent to act on.
Coming soon
More raw signals are on the roadmap. We add a signal only when it is cleanly ours to share and reliably fresh, so your agent can trust every answer it gets.
Two front doors, one dataset
Connect the way your stack already works. Same auth, same credits, same freshness stamp.
Call it over MCP
Connect the RivalSweeper Signals MCP server and any MCP-compatible agent can discover and call the signals directly. No glue code to write, no endpoints to memorize. This is the agent-native path.
Or call it over REST
Prefer plain HTTP? Every signal is a REST call with your API key. Ideal for teams whose pipelines and agents are not on MCP yet. Same data, same pricing, same freshness fields on every response.
Pricing that scales with your agents
Pay per call from prepaid credits, or commit to a monthly plan for a better rate and higher limits. Every account starts free.
This is pricing for the agent-facing Signals API. Looking for the RivalSweeper platform (dashboard, reports, and alerts) instead? See the platform subscription plans.
1 credit = $0.02 USD
You prepay credits, and every call draws them down. The dollar amounts below are simply the credit cost converted to USD, not a separate charge. All prices are in USD ($).
| Call type | Unit | Cost (credits) | ≈ USD |
|---|---|---|---|
| Atomic signal | Per query | 1 credit | ≈ $0.02 |
| Bundle (brand snapshot) | Per brand-day | 15 credits | ≈ $0.30 |
| History | Per brand-signal-month | From 5 credits | ≈ $0.10 |
| Synthesis (SWOT / brief) | Per generated brief | 75 credits | ≈ $1.50 |
Credits are the unit of account, and 1 credit = $0.02 USD. An atomic signal is 1 credit, a brand snapshot 15, and a synthesis brief 75, so usage is easy to reason about across every signal. All prices in USD ($).

Freshness on every call
A capture timestamp on every response, so your agent never acts on data it cannot date.

Empty answers cost nothing. You pay for signals, not requests.
Questions, answered
How do I get an API key and start free?
The Signals API is in early access. Request access from this page and we will get back to you within 24 hours. Approved accounts (the free trial is for qualified brands only) get a one-time 50 free trial credits, no card required. Once you are set up, point your agent at your key and it can start pulling signals in minutes.
How does billing and credits work?
Credits are the unit of account, and 1 credit is $0.02 USD (all prices are in USD). Atomic signals cost 1 credit, a brand snapshot 15, and a synthesis brief 75. You top up a prepaid balance by invoice, and every call draws down from it. Bigger top-ups earn bonus credits: +10% at $20, rising 10 points with every doubling to +50% at $320 and above. There is no card processor in the loop and no monthly bill to chase. You see a running usage statement, not a surprise invoice, so there is nothing to collect at month end.
What happens if you have no data for a domain?
You are not charged. Billing is triggered by an answer that carries data, not by the request itself. If we have nothing for the domain, the call returns empty and costs zero credits.
How fresh is the data?
Every response includes a freshness timestamp and the time the underlying data was captured. Your agent can read those fields and decide whether the answer is current enough to act on. If we ever serve data older than your plan's freshness promise, that call is credited back.
How do I connect over MCP versus REST?
Two front doors, one dataset. Connect the RivalSweeper Signals MCP server and any MCP-compatible agent can discover and call the signals directly, no glue code. Prefer REST? Call the same signals over standard HTTP with your API key. Same auth, same credits, same freshness stamp either way.
Can I cap spend and set rate limits?
Yes, and a spend cap is mandatory on the pay-as-you-go plan. Set a hard ceiling per key so an agent loop can never drain your balance, and per-key rate limits keep traffic predictable. The Growth plan raises the rate limits as you grow.
What signals are available today?
At launch: competitor price, active promotions, and the AI and agent-readiness score as atomic signals; a bundled brand snapshot; signal history; and a synthesized SWOT delta and competitive summary. More raw signals, including price position index, discount depth, new arrivals, out-of-stock rate, and promo calendar, are on the roadmap.
